Cliff Abbott

Cliff has entertained audiences across the country. He's a Lyrical Storyteller, his music honest, unvarnished and from the heart. Each song is drawn from his own life experiences, the pages of history and the depths of his imagination. Call it “roots” music, Americana, Country, Folk or Bluegrass, Cliff just delivers in his unique style and voice, drawing the audience into each story and making them feel like part of the show. His songs have been recorded by multiple artists and  played on radio, television and across the Internet. 

Cliff is a regular guest on the Dee Ford Show on WOTM TV21, Sylacauga, Alabama. He's been the Featured Songwriter twice at the Music on the Mountain series at the Mentone Arts Center, Mentone, Alabama and shares his songs at other area venues and festivals.

A February 22,2023 story in the Blount Countian,  “Hog Mountain’s ‘poet laureate’ sings his stories,” writer Kristin Yarbrough said: “A compassionate observer of the human condition, Cliff is adept at surprising the listener and challenging prejudices.”

Venue owner Mac McAllister (Sugar Creek Music Club, Hayden, Alabama) added, “Cliff is beloved by most everyone in our musical community along with many in the Bluegrass community all over the United States.”
